Social Security Benefit Rates

If you are claiming or are thinking of claiming a benefit, you may want to know how much money you could get. If you are already getting a benefit or benefits, you may want to check the amounts you get.

This site gives basic rates of benefits. Some social security benefits are not paid at a standard rate, so you will not always be able to work
out how much you will get by using this information provided here. All rates are weekly, unless stated otherwise.

If you want information to help you decide if you may be able to get benefits, or if you just want more advice, please contact your social security office. Social security benefit and National Insurance rates usually change on the first Monday in a new tax year.
A tax year usually starts on 6 April.
