Right and Access to Services

The purpose of this website is to pass on expereince and hard to find information about your rights as a resident of the United Kingdom. The information on this website is the direct result of several individuals realising that the majority of information made available on websites is either too complex to understand or somewhat out of date.

This website intends to have appropriate facts and comments, and we believe this site, is currently the only and best, why not we put a lot of work into this, website that brings information, available on a variety of sites/ sources, together in one place for you to access. Happy reading and please do not hesitate to provide friendly and honest feedback. We realise we shall make several mistakes along the way but if we have been successful in any way, we hope this site becomes a dynamic, honest commentary page for you all.

It is YOUR site and not the work of a few hardworking individuals who will often go un-noticed. We have a challenge on our hands and I hope that I can count on you for your support and contributions. We should be able to create hyper links for any other sites, that are developed by other asylym seekers or refugees because like Nike said to Reebok, we might not be on top for long...

People should treat the information they find on this Web Site as a guidline of how to live their lives in the UK. All ofinformation on this site is correct as of 20th of September 2002, although Laws do change occasionally, and we will do our best to update the site accordingly as this happens.

We would like to gain feedback from you about this Website, whether you liked it, found the design pleasing and easy to read, and whether you feel all the information is accurate. If you feel that parts of this site are incorrect, or if there are topics missing that you feel should be added, please don't hesitate to contact us by email at: - refugeelink@in4refugees.co.uk.

In the future we will be looking to expand the site so that you can share your experiences and troubles in the UK with others, and we can help you gain a better understanding of how things work and support you within our capacities.

We would also like to work together with like-minded organisations, who also support asylum seekers, refugees and other minority groups, to help keep this site as informative and positive as possible.
